Tution
I offer tuition to beginners and to more advanced turners. I have been teaching for over a decade, and have the breadth of experience to offer sound, qualified advice and tuition at any level. Tuition takes place at my fully equipped workshop near Bury St.Edmunds and usually is on a one-to-one basis although two people can be comfortably accommodated if required.

Courses are from 1 to 5 days duration and run from 9.30am to 4.30pm and are usually held during the week although weekends can also be arranged. Courses lasting 2 or more days do not have to be taken together but can be broken into individual days if that is more convenient.
The cost is £80 per day, including lunch and materials. Protective clothing is also supplied so apart from wearing sensible shoes, you need bring nothing else with you apart from enthusiasm.
I also operate a voucher system so that a day or mores tuition can be given as a gift at no extra cost. The course date/s are often left open on these vouchers so the recipient can arrange a date to suit themselves afterwards.
Demonstrations
I offer a unique style of demonstrating, combining skills with a strong bias towards teaching, explaining both my methods and techniques. A full range of both faceplate and spindle work projects can be demonstrated.
